I’ve got 3 labor & employment law & HR seminars coming up.

1st on 2/25/11 at 9:30 AM, I’ll be doing another presentation for the city of Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs in their conference room at Chicago’s City Hall, #805, 121 N. LaSalle St.  Thanks to the Department of Business Affairs for setting this up.  This will be largely Q&A & open discussion along with handouts. If you would like to attend, please contact Alfredo Camarena at 312-744-5344 or alfredo.camarena@cityofchicago.org. It’s a free seminar.

Additionally, I’ll be continuing the free seminars I started on 1/4/11 for Illinois WorkNet Centers, which is part of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO).  The 1/4/11 seminar concerned employment policies & handbooks, employment agreements & the real cost of employment disputes.  The 2nd seminar focuses on employee classification (independent contractor, W-2, etc.).   This takes place on 3/1/11 at 7:45 AM-9:00 AM, at Illinois WorkNet, Illinois Department of Employment Security, 723 W. Algonquin Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

Starting Wednesday, 3/9/11, from 7:30 AM – 9 AM, I’ll be conducting these same presentations for Illinois WorkNet & DCEO in Evanston.   My 3/9/11 presentation is at the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201.  The focus of my 1st presentation is employment policies & agreements, & the cost of employment disputes.
