New Chuck Krugel Law Seminar 10/12/09 for Human Resources Management Association of Chicago

On 10/12/09, me and the same presenters from our August 21, 2009, seminar will be presenting for the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC).  We’ll be discussing legal issues concerning setting up a business in Illinois, & how people in transition must consider these issues when thinking about setting up their own business, instead of looking for “salaried” work.  All of the logistics are below.  Thanks to Steve Callisher, Vice President of The Mentor Group Inc., & member of the HRMAC HR Transition Group planning committee & the Board of Directors for a chapter of SHRM (CHRA), for inviting us to present.

Program Description:

Join us for a discussion with a panel of your peers and hear personal stories about coping after job loss. The key is being creative, staying flexible and adaptable and open to other alternatives.  Doing so will allow you to re-tool, re-invent, re-package yourself, and find alternative career paths or sources of income.  Examples include volunteering, doing contract work, or starting a consulting practice.

As an added bonus, there will also be some legal and accounting experts on the panel to address some considerations when pursuing various alternatives.
