Thanks to attorney Julianne Dailey for organizing this for the Chicago Bar Association’s Solo/Small Firm Practitioners Committee!
This event takes place on Thursday, May 7th beginning at 5:30pm. The trivia portion will run from 6pm-7:30pm, consisting of four short rounds of legal themed, pop culture trivia! Participants will be asked to provide their primary area(s) of practice and any networking preferences at the time of registration (i.e. other practice areas, potential mentors/mentees, etc.). Teams will then be built based on those networking preferences to cultivate a fun environment to compete in trivia while cultivating new professional relationships! The winners will be named the ultimate legal trivia masters and receive fun prizes! Light appetizers will be served, along with refreshments (alcoholic and non-alcoholic.) Trial by Trivia is conveniently located at 10 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606. Parking and other venue information available upon request.
Space is limited, so RSVP today by emailing Julianne Dailey at jdailey@jmdlawllc.com!

Hi Julianne and Charles, this sounds like a fantastic way to bridge the gap between solo practitioners! Since the trivia rounds cover pop culture and legal themes, I was wondering if you’ll be touching on the intersection of international gaming regulations and local compliance? I’ve been researching how different jurisdictions handle transparency, similar to the points raised about operator verification in Colombia, and I think it would make for a great “expert level” trivia question. Looking forward to the event at Riverside Plaza!
