Yesterday, February 24, 2006, the Chicago Tribune had an article on page 1 of the Tempo section concerning blogging.
Internet Critic Steve Johnson’s article was based on this past Tuesday evening’s Chicago Blogger’s meeting at Columbia College downtown. To find out more about the group checkout the Meetup.com homepage.
In Steve’s article, he mentions me and my blog and provides my blog’s address. He also quotes me. Additionally, he discusses Chicago’s blogging community and provides input from other group members. In the print edition, there’s a photo which includes me. The photo is at right (I’m the person leaning against the column).
This is my 2nd mention in the Tribune this week. The 1st time was an ad for my employment law seminar. This is on p.2 of Monday’s Business section; also available online.
Pretty cool making it on the front page of Tempo, too bad we didn’t make it above the fold!
One error in the caption – this isn’t the ‘3rd’ meet-up. Chicago bloggers have been meeting in person since 1999.
