BestSitesNow.com ranks my website as the 4th best website in the Labor & Employment Law area. My site is the highest ranking law firm & nongovernmental or reference site in the field. This isn’t a “pay for play” site or designation.

According to DreamDolphin Media, the creators of BSN:

Every site on BestSitesNow.com was reviewed and approved by an Open Directory Project editor. You won’t find insignificant forum posts and article pages here, just complete sites. For 2nd Year in a Row, My Website/Blog Chosen as One of Industry’s Best Blogs

It’s great to receive recognition! For the 2nd year in a row, my blog/website has been named a top 100 employment law blog by Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor’s The Delaware Employment Blog Top 100 Employment Law Blogs. This site came in at number 26 & is the only blog in the top 50 that’s named after or for a firm or individual attorney. The list is contained in YCST’s The Delaware Employment Law Blog. Response to Comments Regarding President-Elect Obama Newspaper Collage

Since I posted the Barack Obama newspaper front-page collage last week, my blog/site has received record traffic. Also, some comments from readers.

Ben Woods, from www.benwoods.com, posted his own collage at http://benwoods.com/assets/images/obama_wallpaper.png. On my blog he says that his is a “real collage.” Come on Ben! Yours is great but nowhere near as impressive as “Geoff’s,” whoever he/she may be. Your collage contains what, about 200 images? Geoff’s has about 700 images.

Isabel Cortes asks if there’s a way to get an electronic image version of the collage. Isabel, I actually made a few unsuccessful attempts at making a jpeg, tiff, etc., version. Unfortunately, I’m not that adept at some of this web publishing and image stuff. Sorry. If you hear of anyone else making a different version of the collage, please let me know.

Downed Server = No Website This Weekend

I apologize to anyone who tried to access my website on Saturday and Sunday and found nothing. The technology gods took the weekend off, and the tech gremlins tookover (I.e., my hosting company’s server went down for about 24 hours). It’s very frustrating. Obviously, everything is back up now. Sorry about any inconvenience. Chuck

Sphere Related Content Plugin

In my continuing effort to increase my site’s usefulness as a resource and research tool, I just added the Sphere plugin. The Sphere icon is at the bottom of each post. This is allows readers to click on the link at the end of all posts to see related content from other websites. This is similar to the Snapshot widget but seems less obtrusive. Feel free to let me know your thoughts about this. Thanks, Chuck.
